Trekking word derived from the Afrikaans word trek and trekker, literally meaning to "pull travel", became a word in English language in mid 19th century, and means a long arduous journey, typically on foot. Trekking is not climbing; it is days of walking, along with adventure.

Trekking is the most trendy tourism activity in Nepal. Trekking in Nepal is also one of the best way of experiencing Nepal's natural attractiveness and rich cultural heritage.
