Everest Region Trekking of Nepal

Everest region is situated in eastern part of Nepal. The name of Everest is famous from height mountain Mt. Everest. It is also call Khumbu valley. Everest area is protected by the Sagarmatha National Park, established in 1976 with an area of 1148 square kilometers. Sagarmath national Park includes the upper catchments areas of the Dudhkoshi and Bhotehoshi Rivers and is largely composed of rugged terrain and gorges of the high Himalayas, ranging from 2,845m at Monjo to the top of the world's highest Himal - Sagarmatha at 8,848m above the sea level. Other peaks above 6,000m are Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Thamserku. Nuptse, Amadablam and Pumori. The famous Sherpa people, whose lives are interweave with the teachings of Buddhism, live in the region. The notorious Tengboche and other monasteries are common meeting places to celebrate religious festivals such as Dumje and Mane Rumdu. In addition to Tengboche, Thame, Khumjung and Pangboche are some other famous monasteries. It is listed UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 1979.

Mount Everest, the highest mountain in the world, which is known as "Sagarmatha" in Nepali means “forehead of sky”, the goddess mother of the world, has long been the greatest attraction for nature lovers and trekkers alike. “Chomolungma” is the Tibetan name means “Goddess of wind”. Solukhumbu, the heartland of the Everest area and an integral part of the Himalayan mystique, those provides a welcome destination for these adventurers.

Throughout Everest treks, trekkers are overwhelmed with views of unbelievable peaks, Buddhist monasteries, and friendly Sherpa hospitability. Perhaps some may even have a glance of the Yeti! The local people believe that the Pangboche Monastery actually has in its possession the real scalp of this Himalayan legend. As we proceed slowly to allow for maximum acclimation, we will have plenty of opportunity to visit monasteries and Sherpa homes of that area. Most of our Sherpa crew comes from the Sherpa households of Everest area. Incredible views of Mount Everest and the surrounding peaks are the inescapable fare while we ascend Kala Patthar. Everest region trekking presents great opportunity to have unique experiences. 

There are so many routes to explore into the Everest region. Either we can visit short trek to see Mountain Everest from Namche or Tyangboche monastery or you can explore more than three weeks including high passes. Everest Base Camp is very modern trekking using many trekkers in season time. But it is wonderful treks is Chola Pass, Renjola Pass & Khongmola Pass including Everest Base camp. The most common ways to do trekking in Everest; Flight to Lukla and start trekking or Bus to Jiri and 7 days trekking or Flight to Tumlingtar or Flight to Phaplu and start you’re trekking. It is possible well-known accommodation and meals on the trekking side hotel and restaurant. This area is modern trekking in Nepal so that every day more than 300 tourists up and down in season time.
