Jiri lies at an altitude of 1,905 meters (6,250 feet) and is the eastern-most terminus of the highway coming from Kathmandu. Daily bus service is available from Kathmandu but the 184 km ride takes 6 to 8 hours due to narrow, winding roads and checkpoints along the high-way. Jiri trekking route is not very busy because of many climber or trekker use fly to Lukla. Trekking all the way to entrances in Sagarmatha National park or Khumbu valley it takes 6, 7 days walking. 

Jiri to Everest Base Camp trekking is highlight of different diversity of landscape, culture, flora and fauna, animal and mammal. The trekking route is mostly up and down all the way to Lukla but you have lot of acclimatization to go Base Camp of Everest. To visit Sherpa home and their hospitability, join the worship programs in monastery and running highest mountain feather is main goal of this trek. Everest Base CampMount Everest to the Nepalese it is simply called Sagarmatha, the "Sky head". To the Tibetans it is Chomolungma or Jomolungma “mother goddess of the earth”. 

Jiri to Everest base camp trekking follow an ancient route that drive to Jiri or seasonable road Bhandara, will take us through tiny villages, across high mountain passes, and through remote valleys, villages, and monasteries. The views grow even more spectacular as we venture up the Dudh Kosi River to Namche Bazaar, the gateway to the Khumbu area at 3440m (11,300 feet). We will spend a night next to the Thyangboche monastery 3868m (12,887 feet), where you will be rewarded with spectacular views of Ama Dablam, Mt. Everest, and Lhotse. A non-technical climb of Kalapatthar 5545m (18,450 feet) highlights the truly spectacular panorama of Sagamartha (Mt. Everest), the Mother Goddess of the World 8848m (29,030 feet), and Lhotse 8516m (27,560 feet). Spending the better part of one or two days at Everest Base Camp will give us plenty of time for exploring the base camp of the tallest mountain in the world. Our itineraries bring to same way return to Lukla and short fly back to Kathmandu.

Outline Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu; transfer to Hotel.
Day 02: Final preparation for trekking/ city tour.
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Jiri. 7-8 hours, O/N Lodge/Guest house.
Day 04: Trek to through settlements to Bandar 2 hours drive and 3 hours treks, O/N Lodge/Guest house.
Day 05: Trek to Sate village 5 hours, O/N Lodge/Guest house.
Day 06: Trek over Lamjura pass to Junbesi 8-9 hours, O/N Lodge/Guest house.
Day 07: Continue trek through Solu to Nuntala 6 hours, O/N Lodge/Guest house.
Day 08: Trek to village of Khare Khola 5 hours, O/N Lodge/Guest house.
Day 09: Trek to Surkhe 5 hours, O/N Lodge/Guest house.
Day 10: Trek to Phakding  5.30 hours, O/N Lodge/Guest house.
Day 11: Phakding - Namche (3440m), 5.30 hours, O/N Lodge/Guest house.
Day 12: Namche Bazaar - rest day for acclimatization, O/N Lodge/Guest house.
Day 13: Namche Bazaar - Tyangboche, (3860m), 5 hour, O/N Lodge/Guest house.
Day 14: Tyangboche - Dingboche, (4350m), 6 hours, O/N Lodge/Guest house.
Day 15: Dingboche – Acclimatization, O/N Lodge/Guest house.
Day 16: Dingboche - Lobuche (4925m), 6 hours, O/N Lodge/Guest house. 
Day 17: Lobuche - Gorakshep (5170m) - EBC (5370m)-Gorakshep, 7/8 hours, O/N Lodge/Guest house.
Day 18: Gorakshep – Kalapathar (5545m) - Pongboche 7 hours, O/N Lodge/Guest house. 
Day 19: Pongboche – Namche Bazaar  6 hours, O/N Lodge/Guest house.
Day 20: Namche Bazaar – Lukla  6 hours, O/N Lodge/Guest house.
Day 21: Lukla - Kathmandu flight, O/N Hotel.
