Island Peak 6189 meters also known as Imja Tse is one of the most popular trekking peak in Nepal located at Khumbu valley. Island peak derives its name so, as the mountain looks like a sea of ice from along with one of the most enjoyable climbing experience, scaling of the Imja Tse or Island Peak gets rewarded by some of the most spectacular scenery of Himalayas in the Everest region.

For many mountaineering enthusiasts, climbing Island Peak also marks the preparation for a full scale Himalaya expedition in Nepal in the later years. For the serious mountaineers, Island Peak also peak serves the purpose of acclimatization before heading to bigger mountain climbing. Trekking to Kalapattar or Everest base camp is best suited for acclimatization before proceeding to the climbing on Island Peak climbing. Once on the island peak summit, you will see that the giant mountains, Nuptse (7,879m), Lhotse (8,501m), Lhotse Middle Peak (8,410m) and Lhotse Shar (8,383m) make a semi circle in the north. The views of Makalu (8475m) in the east, Baruntse and Ama Dablam in the south add more charm in climbing Island Peak climbing in Nepal.

In our itinerary follow Everest Base Camp treks routes up to Gorep-shep and than trek back to Chhukum valley 4700 meters where there are numerous lodges. One night stay in Chhukum than 3 hours trek bring you in Island peak base camp.  Many climbers summit from base camp but our itinerary plan overnight in High camp 5500 meters. If given island peak climbing itinerary is not suitable for you, we design another itinerary as per your desire and duration of holidays. We make Island peak climbing itinerary short and long according to your demand. Outline Itinerary

Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu airport, meet our staff then transfers to Hotel.

Day 02 : Free day for preparation and official briefing.

Day 03 to Day 11 : Trekking to Everest Base camp and return to Chhukum, Teahouse Lodge.

Day 12 to day 14 : Climbing period, Overnight Tented Camp.

Day 15 to day 18 : Trekking to Lukla and flight to Kathmandu, overnight Tea house / Hotel

Day 19: Kathmandu Free day, we are happy to arrange sight seeing in Kathmandu valley

Day 20: Last minute, transfer to Airport for your onward journey or next trip.
