Not only for Hindus its also famous for Buddhism as well. Taking bath in Holy River Bagmati as well as Muktinath taps and natural hot water in Tatopani, participant worship in temple and monastery is highlight of trip. 

Pashupatinath temple being the temple of Lord Shiva possessed its two-storied golden roof and silver doors and is famous for its superb architecture. Pashupati temple is situated 5 kilometer east of Kathmandu heart, on the banks of sacred Bagmati River. Being one of the most important Hindu temples, this is a center of annual pilgrimage. From time immortal, the Pashupati area has contained numerous temples, stupa, monasteries, images and inscriptions. Not only is the Pashupati area a pilgrimage site for the Hindus and it is also an important cultural treasury for the whole world. Only Hindus are permitted to enter from the main gate.

Muktinath, a village and temple with the same name, is located at an altitude of 3,800 meters in the Mustang district of Nepal. Muktinath lies at the foothills of the Thorong La Mountain pass which is also a part of the Himalayas. The shrine of Muktinath above Thak Khola is one of the major pilgrimages for the Hindus and Buddhists of the region. For the Hindus, the place is a “Mukti Chhetra” meaning the "place of salvation". For the Buddhists, Muktinath is the Chumig Gyatsa which in Tibetan means 'Hundred Waters', a very important place of Dakinis, goddesses known as Sky Dancers and one of the 24 Tantric places. Muktinath shrine is also one of the eight most sacred shrines for Hindu Vaishnavas of the order Svayam Vyakta Ksetras. Hindus also worship the shrine of Muktinath as the manifestation of the God Vishnu. The idol is of human size and is made from gold. Another important part of the shrine are the Prakaram, the 108 bull faces pouring very cold water. Interestingly, an old Buddhist monk and Buddhist nuns present in the temple conduct the worshipping of the idol. To reach Muktinath you can walk 5/6 days from Nayapul or Beni either or fly to Jomsom or drive on the way to Muktinath by Jeep from Beni. 

Our itinerary brings you to Pashupatinath Darshal and enters the tourist paradise city Pokhara. Flight to Jomsom, trek to Muktinath valley than drive by jeep to Tatopani Bani continues to Pokhara.
