Everest Base Camp trek is the one of the popular trekking route in Tibet. Most of the time you will walk on a plateau over 4300m, you will even cross over one pass Nam-la 5300m, so this trekking route is a really difficult high-elevation. However, because of the high-altitude, it offers splendor views of north face of Everest and other snow mountain peaks around. The Everest Base Camp Trek can be done from April to late October. Our tour involves a few days sightseeing at Lhasa at first and some detour off the Friendship High way to Old Tingri to acclimatize.

The Everest area is situated in eastern Nepal. It is protected by the Sagarmatha National Park, established in 1976 with an area of 1148 square kilometers. The park is largely composed of the rugged terrain and gorges of the high Himalayas. Altitude ranges from 2845 meters above sea level (9,330ft) to the top of the world, Mt. Everest at 8848 meters (29,028ft). Mount Everest, the highest mountain in the world, which is known in Nepal as "Sagarmatha" the goddess mother of the world, has long been the greatest attraction for nature lovers and trekkers alike. Tibetan its call “Chomolungma”. You can learn a lot from these Tibetan people. It will be even easier to enjoy Tibet as nothing but the best Tibetan hotels will be provided for you.

Day 02: Rest day/acclimatization

Day 03: Drive to Old Tingri 

Day 04: Drive Old Tingri-Rongphu-Everest B.C to Lhatse

Day 05: Drive Lhatse to Shigatse[3900M]

Day 06: Drive to Gyantse (Pelkhor and Kumbum)-Lake Yamdrok-Lhasa [3650M]

Day 07: In Lhasa - Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple

Day 08: Guided sightseeing tour in Lhasa    

Day 09: Fly Lhasa/Kathmandu or train to China
