Recommend Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu (1340 m), transfer to Hotel, overnight at 2-3 star Hotel (B).
Arrive in Kathmandu, meet our staff and transfer to a hotel in Kathmandu, join a group meeting if you are joining with a group and tour briefing, final payment, check equipment, overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 2: City Sightseeing and preparation for climbing, overnight at 2-3 star hotel in Kathmandu (1340 m) (BB).
Guided city tour half day; after breakfast, 9 AM, start our city tour. First we drive to Pashupatinath Temple, the Hindus pilgrims’ place where the dead body burns. Second, bring to Buddhanath Stupa, which is one of the biggest Stupa in the world. Third, drive to Swayambhunath it's called “monkey Temple” and at last visit Kathmandu Durbar Squire, the old “historical palace” 4–6 hours, check equipment, official briefing by Department of tourism or shopping in Thamel, overnight at Hotel.
Day 3: Phakding (2640 m); flight to Lukla (2840 m) and 3/4 hours trekking to Phakding, overnight at Namaste Lodge, See you Lodge or similar Hotel (B/L/D).
Early morning flight from Tribhuvan International Airport (Domestic) Kathmandu to Tenzing Hillary Airport, Lukla. Upon arrival at the airport, your guide will brief you of the day trek, as well as introduce you to your porters/Sherpas. While your Sherpas sort out and load your trekking equipment, you have time to explore Lukla. After finishing breakfast, proceed from Lukla to Khumbu, head north, past a Chorten with praying wheels and join the main tail at Choplung (2696 m) in less than one hour. They proceed from their head north crossing the Thado Khola (2554 m) with the awesome trekking peak Kusum Khanguru (6483 m) at its head. To reach Phakding (2640 m), 2.15 hours from Chuplung or almost 3.30 hours from Lukla, overnight at Hotel.
Day 4: Namche (3540 m); 5 hours trekking to Namche Bazaar, overnight at Hotel Namche or similar Hotel (B/L/D).
To cross the west bank (right) of the Dudh koshi river, continue through blue pine and rhododendron forests, pass a settlement of metalworker (Tok Tok), village of Banker (2905 m) with a small lodge, see view of Mt. Thamserku (6856 m) 1 hour. In the short while cross to the east (left) bank and climb up through Chumowa, cross the Khansar Khola to reach Mondzo (2835 m). Enter Sagarmatha national park here, check your permit. Descend in a cleft to the west (right) bank of Dudh Kosi on a suspension bridge to reach Jorsule (2774 m) 30 minutes. This is the last village before Namche Bazar. We take lunch here & proceed to cross Dudh Kosi (Bhote Kosi) again to the left side & again to cross the main Dudh Kosi, climb up till to Namche Bazaar (3440 m), proceed in pine forest. Can see, first view of Mt. Everest between Lhotse & Nuptse reach 2 and half hours from Jorsule, overnight at Hotel.
Day 5: Namche Bazaar; Rest day for Acclimatization, overnight at Hotel Namche or similar Hotel (B/L/D).
Today is a rest day, however, we should do some activities such as to climb Syangboche airport, visit Sherpa home in khumjung/Khunde village includes Adman Hillary school or view from Everest view Hotel, 2 hours. Namche bazaar has many officials or offices, including army base camp and bank. Namche used to be a trading center, where grain from the south was exchanged for salt from Tibet, and it remains now a trading center. Every Saturday is market day. It is the headquarters of Sagarmatha National park (SNP) & Sagarmatha pollution controlled Project (SPCP). Here is the Sherpa Museum & monasteries too, overnight at the hotel.
Day 6: Namche to Tengboche (3767m), 4.30 hours trekking to Tengboche, overnight at Hotel Himalaya or Tashi Dele Guest house or Hotel Good Luck (Debuche) (B/L/D).
The tail rises to the east of Sagarmatha National Park Museum (3520 m), instead, contour high above the Dudh Kosi passes Kyangsuma. Steeply down to reach Phorse Tanga, may we have lunch; this is the last sport before Tengboche. After a hot lunch climb 2.20 hours to reach Tengboche (3767 m, after your arrival check the hotel and visit the monastery. Every day 3-4 PM and 6-7 am is worship time in the Monastery. Overnight at Guest house.
Day 7: Tengboche to Dingboche (4410 m), 5–6 hours trekking, overnight at Hotel Good Luck or similar Hotel (B/L/D).
Today, we start early, around 7 to 8 o’clock. Half an hour down to Debuche, where there is a monastery and small settlements inside the alpine forest. After a 45 minutes’ walk to cross the bridge, continue climbing to reach lower Pangboche. The trekking routes follow the lower path of Pangboche. It is worth to visit Monastery if you have time, its takes 45 minutes extra. An hour walk to reach a small settlement called Somare, may have lunch in Somare then gradually walk up. After one hour's walk from Somare, there are two ways, one heading to Pheriche and the other is Dingboche. Right hand side direction is way to Dingboche 4410 m, 1 hour from the junction. After arrival, have a short drink with rest and climb 200 meters over the Nagarjun hill because every day we “ascent high and sleep in low”. Overnight guest house/Lodge.
Day 8: Dingboche to Lobuje (4900 m), 4–5 hours trekking to Lobuje, overnight at Hotel Peak 15 or Sheroa Lodge or or similar Hotel (B/L/D).
After breakfast, we start trekking and climb over Dingboche valley for 15–20 minutes. Over the hill with a beautiful view of Tawache, Cholatse, Amadablam, Makalu, Island peak. Trek continues to Dukla 4680 m, may we have lunch. From Dukla, the trail is ascending to Dukla/Dhukla passes 4800 m where there are many memorials and monuments who died in Everest summit. After the pass, he gradually headed to Lobuje. It takes 5 hours to Lobuje 4910 m from Dingboche, overnight at lodge.
Day 9: Gorap-shep (5170 m) – Everest Base Camp (5364 m) 4–5 hours and return to Gorep-shep 2 hours trekking, overnight at Yeti Guest house, Snowland Guest house or Everest Inn or similar Hotel (B/L/D).
This is another big and difficult walk along the Khumbu Glacier and up to the Everest Base Camp (5365 m). Early in the morning, leaving Lobuje, the trail goes over the glacier and moving rock. The distance is not far away, however the altitude is killing you, so it takes 3 to 4 hours to go to Gorep-shep. We will head up to Everest Base camp (5365 meters), and return to Gorak-shep at an elevation of 5180 meters. We walk over the moving stone with jump, so it does hard, be careful to walk 4-7 hours to/from Base camp, We are likely to see the teams of Everest Expeditions. The view of the Khumbu Icefall is spectacular. We then return to Gorak-Shep to spend our nights, overnight at Guesthouse.
Day 10: Pheriche 4010m, 2 hours Kalapattar (5545m) climb and 4-6 hours trekking to Pangboche, overnight at Pangboche Guest house or similar Hotel (B/L/D).
After reaching Base camp of Everest our aim today is to trek Kalapattar (5545 meters) a small peak. This will be a difficult, but rewarding trek. We start early morning before sunrise to reach the viewpoint that offers some of the best views of Mount Everest as well as other panoramas of the surrounding mountains. Kalapattar means “Black rock”, the most excellent view point in the world. Returning to the Hotel, after a late breakfast descend to Pheriche at an elevation of 4230 meters 5 hours, overnight at Guesthouse.
