Kyazo Ri or Kyajori Peak Climbing is a fascinating and attractive peak climbing in the Khumbu, the Everest region of Nepal. Kyazori Peak lies in the Mahalangur Range, among a long line of peaks continuing all the way to Cho Oyu border between Nepal and Tibet. Nepal Mountaineering Association has been listed Mt. Kyazo -Ri under A category mountain with an elevation of 6,186m, and it is part of the peaks that separate Thame Valley from Gokyo valley.
Climbing of Kyajo Ri is challenging, and a physically demanding peak was also permitted only after 2002 by the Nepalese Ministry of Tourism through Nepal Mountaineering Association. The first ascent of the peak was by a British and French expedition team in 2002. The climb to the summit of Kyazo Ri Expedition and Mountaineering is the combination of moderate rock climbing and steep alpine ice. It provides adventure filled challenges and breathtaking views of peaks over 8000 meters including Mt. Everest 8848m, Mt. Lhotse 8516m, Mt. Makalu 8463m, Mt. Cho Oyu 8201m and other spectacular high peaks in the Khumbu Himal range. Kyajo Ri is less explored by mountaineers. So this peak trek is known as new and fresh in the tract of Khumbu.
Asian Hiking Team will take a scenic domestic flight from Kathmandu towards the airstrip of Lukla. Lukla is the gateway to Khumbu and the entire Mt. Everest region of Nepal. Our Kyazo Ri Expedition and treks start from Lukla then we follow the trail that goes along the Dudh Koshi river through a dense forest filled with Rhododendron and Oak trees towards the Sherpa Capital called Namche Bazaar. After spending a day in acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar, we will follow the trail that is a gradual ascent all the way to Kyazo Ri Base Camp. We head further high towards Camp I and then to Camp II.
Asian Hiking Team Sherpa crews will make necessary checks on our climbing gears and health conditions before heading towards the Kyazo Ri Peak summit. After the success summit of Kyazo Ri our itinerary brings you the same way to return to Kathmandu, but you can explore the Everest Base Camp or Gokyo valley Renjola pass before Kyjori climb.

- Adman Hillary School and Khunjung village
- the Tengboche and Pangboche Monastery
- the fantastic views towards Pumori / Everest/ Lotse / Nuptse,/ Ama Dablam from Kalapattar and along the way

- Camping experience
The trip organization (end-to-end) by Suman was perfect without any issue whatsoever, so we are very happy customers and will be back soon.
