Bokta 6114m is situated in the Kanchenjunga Himalayan range in the Kanchenjunga area of Taplejung District, Nepal, Located eastern part of Nepal. The main attraction of Bokta peak is panoramic views of Himalayan peak like Kanchenjunga 8586m, Kumbhakarana 7711m and many more peaks.
Bokta peak is 7.2km south of Phole peak and 11.9km west of Kabru Main peak. Bokta is surrounded by Yalung Glacier in the south and east, by Yamatari Dudh Pokhari Glacier in the north.
Asian Hiking Team Bokta Peak trekking itinerary bring you original Kanchenjunga trekking. We flight to Sukhetar and start trek to Gunsa, continues treking south base camp of Kanchenjunga for acclimatization and return to Gunsa. We cross the high pass of Selela and catch the northern Kanchenjunga base camp route. From Ramche we trek to Bokta peak base camp. Asian Hiking team fix the rope to the upper camp and push the summit from High camp. After successful summit the peak, we return to Yamphudin continus to Sukhetar however it is possible to drive from Yamphudin to Kathmandu as well. If the given itinerary is not matching as your time frame, you can make shorter or long as well.
