Tsum valley manaslu trek

On Request / Per person

Trip Overview

Tsum Valley trekking is located between Ganesh Himal and Mount Manaslu, which is the northern part from Kathmandu. Tsum Valley is a very newly opened (AD 2008) trek in Nepal. Tsum Valley’s acquaintance with Tibet, natural beauty and its perfect culture make Tsum valley trekking excellent.

The Chum valley is uniquely rich in wildlife, especially the Himalayan Thar and Blue Sheep, which congregate in herds of 50 to 200. Tsum valley trek also boasts some unique and historic monasteries, including Rachen Gumba and Mu Gumba, which lie on a pretty plateau nestled in the lap of the valley. Gumba Lungdang, situated at the base of a conical hill against the main slope of Ganesh Himal.

Tsum or Chum trekking has basic tea houses /guest houses and a few nights stay in Gomba (Monastery). The trekking is famous as Gomba Stay trek (stay with monks and nonks). However, every year building new hotels and restaurants is a tourist interest and aspiration. Private rooms are available in most guest houses/ Lodge. Most bathrooms are shared. Every Guest house serves the traditional Nepali meal Dal Bhat (rice, curry and lentil soup). All Guest Houses/ Gomba of our routes have a variety of different food items, such as rice, vegetables, noodles, potatoes and soup. Many of them have western food on the menu. Soft drinks, snacks, wine, bottled mineral water and beer are available in most of the guest houses and trail side restaurants.

Tsum valley trekking started from Sotikhola, but now the seasonal road went to Machhekhola or Tatopani. The road construction continued, so may few years later the road went to the Tibetan border. However, we recommend our trekkers start and end from Sotikhola. It is also noticeable to our clients or customers that it is possible to combine Manaslu trekking with Tsum valley trekking. If you have 5 to 6 days extra you can do both trekking starting from Sotikhola and ending your trek in Besisahar.

We provide "Tsum Valley Manaslu Trek" at the best price among many Travel and Tour companies out there. On request and depending on your itinerary, the cost of the "Tsum Valley Manaslu Trek" will be disclosed. Thanks you and all the best!!!
Thanks you and all the best!!!
I'm so sorry for the delay in sending this email - but I have been in Uk on a busy schedule. We are already missing Nepal. Thank you for making such a wonderful Ganesh Himal Manaslu Trekking for us. It was astounding. I never felt afraid or lost under the direction and guidance of our guide Siri. We are world trekkers, but this adventure has to be at the top of our favorites. The service you provided was wonderful. We are now cooking Nepal food & dressing in our Nepalese clothes for our relatives & friends. Maybe what surprised us the most was all the things we were able to do because we were not able to do in trekking. It all worked out so well. The porters were also a dream and guide Siri really made the trip unforgettable. Thanks you and all the best!!! David James
