Mountains are prominent landforms that have significant heights above sea level and/or the surrounding land. Nepal have over 1310 peaks above 6000m. Many of these 6000m climbing peaks are open for mountaineering in Nepal. Government of Nepal open more than 400 peaks for climbing. 27 peaks are manages by Nepal mountaineering association (NMA). Eight peaks are above 8000m. It has more than 60 peaks are open above 7000m to 7999m. Except those we have many famous peaks above 6000m to 6999m which is manage by Government of Nepal, Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Department of Tourism. It is same process to issue the permit and the documentation.
Some of mountains require liaison officer even less height than 6999m. Ama Dablam which require the liaison officer and the royalty also expensive than others mountains. Some of the mountains are secret, unclimbed and very Technical Mountain too.
